Stop Mass Murder 2016

August 30, 2016

According to the President, taking away our guns will make us safer. Some news reporters in Louisiana agreed with Obama. They say that a good guy with a gun never stops a bad guy with a gun. Well, that’s not a surprise. These are the five examples of self-defense that happened last month.  They show everyone who not only stopped a criminal, but also saved lives.

Armed civilians might have stopped mass murder.

  1. At the gas station in Springfield, Missouri. Katie and Matt Klaxon were filling up their car, their four children are with them in the car. Matt was pumping gas for their car, a stranger approached Katie, who was still sitting in the car. The man opened the door of the car and threatened Katie using a large knife, Katie called for Matt, he immediately drew his Beretta pistol and told the man to leave. The stranger said, “ You are lucky he has a gun,” he closed the car door and backed away. Katie and Matt called police, kept an eye on the man who is trying to open other car doors. He was arrested by police officers.
  2. In Dayton, Ohio, a mother of four kids, used a gun to save herself and her children from three armed home invaders. The video from the security camera shows three men kicking in the back door of her home. The thieves with guns held the woman and her four children at gunpoint. The invaders hit the woman in the head and face with their guns, demanded to open her husband’s safe. As the thieves emptied the safe, the homeowner grabbed her gun. She immediately shot one of the thieves, they all tried to make their escape. The wounded thieves died outside the home, still clutching his gun.
  3. At a liquor store in Chicago, two teenagers wearing masks and enter. One of the teens jumped over the counter and started beating the clerk of the store, while the other robber remained in front of the counter. From upstairs, a relative of the store owner heard a commotion, when he looked down from a stairwell he saw the robbery suspects. He pulled his gun, fired and killed the two thieves. According to the police, it’s possible that the two criminals had robbed at least two other stores in the area. A few years ago, they already got robbed. Armed employee in the liquor store would probably not face charges, that’s what the police said.

In Austin Texas, a mother alone together with her three children spotted an intruder in her yard. She immediately called 911, sadly the police would take many minutes before they arrive at her home. The intruder failed to enter from the front door, then broke through the kitchen door. The mother said she was armed, but the intruder would not leave. The homeowner shot him once, and that’s made him stop from advancing. “I kept telling him to get out of my house and that I have a gun,” mother said. “I’m convinced I did the right thing. He made the choice to come into my house.” He was not going to get past me to get to my children,” she added. The emergency medical services, send the wounded intruder to the hospital through the helicopter. The police expected that the intruder will survive and will surely face charges when he is released from the hospital.

  1. In Chicago, two men entered a T-Mobile phone store. In the first few minutes, they shopped for phones. Then suddenly they pulled out their guns and started robbing the store. One of the employees has his concealed carry permit and has his gun. He used his own handgun, shot the two robbers. One of the robbers was hit in the groin and the arm, the other one is in the abdomen and the arm. They were able to run from the store while another store employee started following them outside, gave their description to the police. The two drove into the nearby hospital and the police took them in custody.

“I think concealed carry is a great opportunity for managers, workers and employees to protect themselves.  Our employee did a great job to protect himself and others,” the manager of the store said. According to local businessmen, last month, the store had been robbed several times. The company allows employees with concealed carry licenses to have weapons at work, that’s what the regional manager of T-Mobile said.

Both politicians and news media says, “It doesn’t happen, but armed citizens defend themselves every single day.”’You always suspected that was true. Now you know,” they added.
