Maine Constitutional Carry Is Now In Effect

Maine-Constitutional-Carry

The day that many Mainians, Maineites, Mainers (ok that last one is actually right) have been waiting for is here. Today, the law passed earlier this year will finally go into effect.

Moving forward, citizens will not be required to get a permit to carry a concealed firearm if they are not prohibited by law from owning one. Additionally, the new law allows active military personnel between the ages of 18-21 to carry a concealed firearm without going through the permitting process.

This trend of constitutional carry is growing across the nation every year. If you want your state to be next, get active and contact your lawmakers and tell them what you want.
