Defensive Handgun: Texas Homeowner Shoots Intruder

A Texas man shot an intruder who broke into his house last week.

31 year old Phillip Owens was caught inside someone’s home before the homeowner was able to shoot the intruder in the stomach. Over the past two months, this neighborhood had seen an increase in burglaries and arson related fires set after the burglaries.

Officials are working to determine if Phillip Owens is behind the other activities in the neighborhood, but we know for certain that there is another violent felon taken off the streets after a law abiding gun owner protected himself and his home from this individual.
