Defensive Handgun: Store Owner Proves To Be The Wrong Target For These Criminals

Late last week a Jacksonville jewelry store was targeted by two criminals. According to police, the owner was preparing to close his business for the day when two masked individuals approached him at the rear of the establishment.

A fight then ensued and the store owner was shot. After being shot, he was able to get his firearm and return fire, striking one of the criminals sending them fleeing from the scene.

The suspect that was shot later turned up at a hospital and died from injuries sustained during the attempted robbery. The other suspect has not yet been caught. The store owner is expected to make a full recovery.

Just another example of a privately armed citizen utilizing his right to self defense. At no time should an American citizen be forced to risk their lives by being disarmed.
