Defensive Handgun: Armed Texan Steps In During Armed Home Invasion

Late last weekend another law abiding citizen prevented a home invasion and a deadly attack.

A neigbor who was walking down the street witnessed the situation, drew his firearm, and confronted the suspects before shooting one of them.

Late Saturday evening, neighbors reported seeing four to eight men in two parked cars in a Houston neighborhood. The criminals got out of their vehicles and forced their way into one of the homes.

Another neighbor, who was walking down the street, witnessed the situation and confronted the suspects. At this time the neighbor shot one of the suspects who shot at him as well. That suspect died at the scene.

Neighbors believe that the suspect who died was driving a stolen white van. The other suspects jumped into an SUV and left the scene.

The homeowner was there and was not injured in the altercation.
