Defensive Handgun: 21 Year Old With A Fresh Permit Shoots Criminal

Early Tuesday morning this week a criminal, who attempted to rob a 21 year old homeowner, was shot around 4am. Terrance Reid returned from his job as a welder when he was approached in his front yard by Antonio Hadley outside of his home.

Toledo Police Lt. Joe Heffernan stated “He was a little quicker on the draw and he shot the suspect.”

At this time the shooting remains under investigation and Heffernan said “We have no reason to believe that (Reid) did not fire in self-defense, so no charges have been filed yet.”
