More and more women are entering the gun world. Women represent the fastest growing segment of the shooting sports and those seeking concealed carrier permits. The women’s market is a force in our industry, and manufacturers, retailers and shooting ranges are making changes to their products and services to satisfy women’s tastes and needs. It comes as no surprise that pro gun women are becoming more of an influential voice in this industry. Here are the Top 10.

No one questions that violence against women is endemic.”
- Carrie Lightfoot Founder and owner of The Well Armed Woman which has 182 chapters in 42 states and 4,592 members. I launched TWAW in Feb. 2012. I was so frustrated as a new female shooter that there were so few resources for women shooters. Most of what I found was either condescending or very sexist and holsters and accessories for women were just about non-existent. As a new shooter, I wanted information that spoke to me respectfully as a woman and answered the questions I had as I entered this “new world.” I needed products that worked for me and fit my body with all of its “differences.” So, with my passion for business and love of firearms, The Well Armed Woman was born.
