Defensive Handgun: Home Burglary Gone Wrong In Columbus

Early Monday morning a Columbus home invasion ended in gunfire.

Police have released details regarding a home invasion around midnight that resulted in two criminals being wounded and the homeowner emerging unscathed. Officers reported that the homeowner opened fire on the intruders who fled the scene in a vehicle.

That vehicle stopped two blocks away with one suspect receiving medical aid and a ambulance ride. The other suspect made his way to a hospital on foot.

Both suspects are expected to survive and spend some time behind bars.
