Guns Save Lives: Employee shoots and kills masked robbers

This past weekend, three masked men, one armed with a pistol, were involved in an armed robbery of a local meat market.
Police responded to a call at 11 p.m. on Saturday for a reported shooting. After they arrived on scene, they found two individuals who had been shot. One died at the scene and the other died a short while later at the hospital.
After handling the individuals who were shot, the police turned their attention over to the employees and customers that remained at the location.
During the robbery, both of the employees drew their own firearms and fired several shots at the three criminals, striking two.
The Berks County District Attorney, John Adams, responded to the scene. After reviewing the evidence and talking with the witnesses, they are labeling this a clear cut situation of self defense. No charges are expected to be brought against the store employees. No word yet on if the store had a “no firearms” policy and if the employees jobs are in jeopardy.
