Defensive Carry: Man Fights Back Two Attackers

We have another story out of North Carolina highlighting a law abiding citizen who would most likely not be around today without his firearm.
Jordan Lyons, a business owner in the area, heard a knock on his door at 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. Due to the late nature of the knock, he grabbed his pistol and answered the door. After opening the door, he was pushed inside and attacked by two males with a beer bottle and a cinder-block. (On a side note, National Carry Academy highly recommends that you do not open your door at 1 a.m. without verifying the identity of the individuals on the other side.)
While fighting for his life, he drew his firearm and shot one of the suspects. A bloodied and beaten Jordan Lyons call the police to report the incident.
At this time, no charges have been filed but police are working with investigators to track down the criminals. Subsequently, the police department has confiscated Mr. Lyons firearm and will return it once the investigation is complete.
